YOUR ROLE ON THE TEAM<\/span><\/p>\n

  • Support and accompany patients through the hearing health process.<\/li>\n
  • Advise and guide your patients in choosing the hearing aids best suited to their needs.<\/li>\n
  • Take ear impressions for the manufacture of hearing aids.<\/li>\n
  • Follow-up and adjust hearing aids as needed.<\/li>\n
  • Offer advice on the use, maintenance and care of hearing aids.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS<\/span><\/h3>\n

    • Be a member of the Ordre des audioproth\u00e9sistes du Qu\u00e9bec (OAQ).<\/li>\n
    • Excellent command of French, both oral and written.
      \nGood command of spoken English, with written skills an asset.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        • This particular job is located in an area where a significant proportion of the population speaks English.<\/em><\/li>\n
        • The need to communicate clearly and effectively with customers every day, in person and on the phone. This includes providing simple instructions, planning medical appointments, understanding patient questions and answering them or referring them to the appropriate professional. The candidate must have an advanced level of proficiency in the production and comprehension of spoken English.\u00a0 <\/em><\/li>\n
        • The need to read and understand documents written in English by either customers or health professionals, and to respond to them in writing, on a daily basis. The job candidate must have an intermediate level of proficiency in the production and comprehension of written English.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
